We have a lot of exciting changes for Tablescapes “Illuminate” this year. The event will be held at a new venue, the Westin, Lombard on Sunday, March 22nd, We are busy soliciting donations, raffle items and exciting trips. We have some new, fun experiences planned for our guests at the event. There will also be an “after party” continuing at Harry Carey’s Bar in the hotel immediately following Tablescapes.
We held our annual Shop Night in downtown Hinsdale on November 21st, with two local stores participating, and then gathered for drinks and snacks at a local restaurant. We raised $1100! Our Juniors were busy once again, ringing the bell at Kramer’s shopping center for donations, and then wrapping gifts at Barnes & Noble for tips, earning close to $800! In December the Juniors participated in See Santa and had lots of fun interacting with the families.
Several of our members volunteered sorting and distributing coats at the Auxiliary's annual Coat Drive. We contributed carloads of coats, both new and gently used. When a notice came out that there was a shortage of coats, our Chapter jumped into action, providing additional carloads of coats for all ages.
Our Baby Shower event provided tons of needed supplies, clothing and items for the Clinic. It was a great success!
Hinsdale IWS Benefit chairs Tracy Fussaro and Kimberly O’Gorman reveal the theme for Tablescapes 2020–ILLUMINATE.
The Hinsdale Juniors volunteered to entertain the children while they waited to “See Santa.”
Our Hinsdale Juniors had fun raising money for IWS by bell ringing at the local shopping center.
