During the months of April and May we have been busy working on putting together our Board for next year, as well as already starting to plan for next year’s Tablescapes event. Lisa Haines who chaired the event this year is staying on to chair next year’s event and she will have a co- chair for next year, Kimberly O’Gorman who was in charge of the Raffle and Silent Auction this year.

On Sunday, March 11th we had our annual Tablescpes benefit, "Life In Silhouette," at the Oak Brook Hills Hilton. We had 393 guests in attendance for a fun afternoon of shopping, sampling and sipping and a tasty lunch. And because this year’s theme was fashion-related, the event featured a Fashion Show that was a big hit with our guests. It was another successful event and our Chapter donated a check to the Center for $96,000.
We had our Annual President’s Meeting on May 30th where we will welcomed prospective members to come and learn more about our chapter and meet our members.
IWS Auxiliary President Sharon Smith (2nd from R) attended Life In Silhouette along with Hinsdale Auxiliary sustaining member Ellen Hoobyar
(Far R).
In May we delivered around 300 Mother’s Day bags to the Center to be given to all of the wonderful Moms who visit the Center. The bags included all kinds of “pampering essentials” like nail polish, face masks, lotions, soaps, shampoos, etc…. Our chapter always enjoys putting these together for those special Moms.
