We held our first quarterly meeting for FY2018-19 on September 15, 2018. We welcomed our new chapter president, Maria Enright and our new chapter treasurer, Diane Jacobson. We thanked outgoing president Laura Moran for her many years of leadership both as our president and as our treasurer.
We are currently collecting money to underwrite the purchase of children’s books which will be donated to the Clinic. The chapter works with a school librarian to ensure that the books selected are age appropriate and have subject matter of interest to children. We also ensure that the books we purchase are written in both English and Spanish languages.
The chapter held its June 9th meeting and provided its members with shopping afterwards at the beautiful
St. John Boutique located on Oak Street in Chicago.
The chapter was able to secure new, individually wrapped mini beanie babies that will be distributed to 80-100 children at the Clinic when the children visit the Clinic to avail themselves of the various services that the Clinic provides.
In addition, the Ambassador-At-Large Chapter purchased and donated a pre-lit Christmas tree that will be used by the Clinic at its annual See Santa party.
